Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

We are looking for 3x full time Plant Operators for our Rolleston Mill, working Monday to Friday. There are two shifts (6.00am-3.30pm and 2.30pm-12am).

Reporting to Site Manager, your key focus will be undertaking the efficient daily mill operations including mixing of raw materials, bagging of materials, minor machinery maintenance and ensure consistent quality management.

You will also concentrate on:

• Operating and monitoring SCADA equipment and machinery
• Contributing to manufacturing and process improvements
• Ensuring productivity targets are met
• Helping to maintain an excellent standard of workplace health and safety

Mōhou ake | About you

To excel in this role, you will have previous experience working with rural supplies. You will need basic machine operating skills and in particular working with SCADA.

• You will be reliable and have a consistent work ethic
• You will be an effective communicator (able to relate well to others)
• You will be able to work autonomously but equally in teams
• You will have an ability to build effective working relationships across the organisation
