Sales
The face of Farmlands on-the-farm, we work closely with our large customers to add value to their businesses and support farm profitability in every way we can. We offer technical support and have a wealth of specialist knowledge as a group. Our Field Teams provide specialised technical sales on-farm – we wear a lot of hats and hold a huge amount of product knowledge to help our customers to get the best out of them.
We own the relationships with our customers and provide the expertise as true partners and advisors, forging and shaping the future of Kiwi agribusiness. As eyes and ears out in the field, we also gather crucial market intelligence, trends, and farmer communications.
Our Sales Team is made up of:
- Regional Sales Manager – leading the way as part of a highly organised and passionate team
- Field sales teams – our Technical Field Officers and Technical Advisors, and Business Development Managers.
- Specialists – our Agronomists, Nutrition Specialists and Horticulture experts

In 5 years with Farmlands I've had the privilege to manage a portfolio of corporate Shareholders who each have unique requirements from their co-operative. I thrive on building and maintaining robust relationships – and in this role, I get to do that every day. Through my career Farmlands have invested in my professional development - including through the Emerging Leaders Programme and the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme.

I've recently moved into a Technical Field Officer role out of store and have had great support with the transition from my Regional Sales Manager. I've also participated in the Cultivate programme which gives new Technical Field Officers the skills and knowledge to best support our shareholders. Farmlands have been a great support in my personal progression and I was fortunate to receive the Tom Cranswick Award through Farmlands when at university.
