Data Product Developer - Kaihanga Hua Raraunga
Build Python data applications on our modern multi-cloud stack (AWS/Azure/GCP). Create innovative solutions with Snowflake, APIs & AI. Join Farmlands and help drive smarter decisions.
Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.
We’re looking for a Data Product Developer to help us unlock the full potential of our new Snowflake data platform over the next 12 months. You’ll build practical, user-friendly tools—including data apps, AI-driven solutions and automation workflows—that support teams across the business.
Working closely with our data engineers and analysts, you’ll use your Python and software development skills to create reliable, scalable solutions. We're after someone with 3+ years' experience, confident working with cloud technologies, who’s motivated by solving real business problems—not just writing code for the sake of it.
This is a great opportunity to work with modern data tools and help shape how data products are built and used across Farmlands.
Mōhou ake | About you
- Strong Python and SQL expertise, with hands-on experience building applications and data workflows using tools like Streamlit, Django, Flask, Airflow, pySpark and Snowflake.
- Good understanding of modern software and data architecture, including automated systems, API integration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Committed to clean, maintainable code, with experience in git, CI/CD, DevOps workflows, and debugging complex systems for reliable, scalable delivery.
- Excellent problem-solver who translates business needs into technical solutions and communicates clearly with all stakeholders.
- Self-motivated team player who thrives in ambiguity, embraces change, and maintains high quality standards.
