Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to manage and optimise our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes across the Farmlands supply chain.
Reporting to the Inventory and Analytics Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining EDI functionality, managing vendor relationships, onboarding new suppliers, and ensuring system integration with our enterprise platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage EDI service provider relationships and oversee vendor performance
- Facilitate onboarding and training of new suppliers onto EDI platforms
- Monitor EDI process compliance, data integrity and efficiency gains
- Collaborate with internal teams (including IT, Category, and Distribution) to improve integration with ERP and planning systems
- Build and present reporting insights using tools such as Power BI and Excel
- Contribute to technology advancement by identifying opportunities for automation (e.g., Robotic Process Automation)
This is a 12-month fixed term role.

You’ll be an analytical and solutions-focused professional with experience managing EDI platforms and improving supply chain processes. Confident working with data and systems, you bring a collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
You’ll also bring:
- Proven experience with EDI systems (ProAgrica preferred) and ERP platforms like D365 FinOps
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in Power BI and Excel
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with supply chain planning systems (e.g., Logility) and an interest in automation technologies such as RPA
