This is a full-time role in a horticulture and lifestyle retail store, based at our Te Puna location. We’re looking for someone to join the team working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders

• Advising customers on a range of insecticides, fungicides and herbicides for orchard use

• Advising our local lifestyle customers around, poultry, equine, garden and apparel

• Operating a point of sale (POS) system

• Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock

• Restocking and displaying our products

Mōhou ake | About you

• A background in the farming sector

• You can engage and talk to anyone

• You have retail sales or customer service skills and experience

• You have sound computer skills

• You're physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks

Bonus Points for:

• A forklift licence

• A first aid licence
