This is more than a retail leadership role.
As our Branch Manager, you'll lead the Farmlands Wairoa team while building strong relationships across the local farming community. You'll be responsible for driving store performance, developing your people, and delivering an exceptional experience for our shareholders and customers. Supporting a diverse customer base across sheep and beef, dairy, horticulture and lifestyle farming, you'll play an important role in helping Wairoa's rural sector thrive.
Where you'll add value:
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
Build strong relationships with shareholders, customers and the wider community
Deliver on agreed objectives and KPIs while driving continuous improvement
Manage budgets, P&L and financial performance
Be a visible presence on the shop floor, supporting customers and mentoring team members
Identify opportunities to grow sales and strengthen customer loyalty

You're a people-focused leader who enjoys building strong teams, creating great customer experiences, and delivering commercial results.
You'll likely bring:
Experience leading successful teams in a retail, rural, agricultural or customer-facing environment
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
Knowledge of rural products, services or farming communities
Commercial acumen and confidence managing financial performance
Experience coaching and developing team members
Strong computer skills and confidence using modern technology
A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to jump in where needed
