Our Winton feed mill is growing, and we're looking for reliable, practical people to join the team.

Whether you've worked in manufacturing, farming, transport, or you're simply looking for a stable job with a good bunch of people, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to learn the full mill operation, develop a broad range of practical skills, and become an all-round operator.

What you'll be doing

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be part of the day-to-day running of the mill:

• Working as part of the team on the mill floor supporting feed production

• Measuring and adding ingredients accurately to produce quality animal feed

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Bagging and handling feed products

• Spotting issues and helping keep operations running smoothly

• Learning different parts of the mill operation as your skills grow

• Working alongside experienced operators and learning from the wider team

You'll work a full-time 45-hour roster, providing consistent hours and income every week. This may require split shifts, so you'll need to be flexible with your working hours.

Build skills across the whole operation

Unlike many operator roles, you'll have the opportunity to learn the full mill operation rather than being limited to one task. Through on-the-job training and support from experienced team members, you'll build practical skills, gain greater responsibility, and become an all-round operator over time.
