We're looking for the next Branch Manager to lead the team at our Leeston store.
Your key focus will be:
- Leading a high performing team, helping them achieve results and fostering a great culture.
- Developing strong relationships with our shareholders.
- Delivering on agreed objectives and KPIs plus seeking continuous improvement.
- Managing budgets, P&L and financials.
- Continuing to build a strong community environment within the store.
- Being a presence on the shop floor, serving customers and coaching team members
Mōhou ake | About you
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of leading successful teams, ideally, in the retail environment.
You will also have:
- The ability to build solid client relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Sound knowledge of rural products and services in general.
- Experience coaching team members and training them on best practices.
- Strong commercial business acumen and knowledge of financial ledgers.
- Solid computer skills and enjoy working with up-to-date technology.

Our NZ Apprenticeship in Retail qualification includes on-the-job training, self-directed learning, and mentoring support.
The program consists of:
- NZ Certificate in Retail Level 3 (Year 1)
- NZ Certificate in Retail Level 4 (Year 2)
Once you complete both certificates, you will be awarded the full Retail Apprenticeship qualification that you'll have for life!

- Your manager or elected senior salesperson will provide coaching and verification.

You'll need to work a minimum of 16 hours per week to be eligible for the Retail Apprenticeship.
