Due to internal promotion, we’re looking for a high-performing retail professional to join the team as our Regional Manager – Retail, leading our South Island northern area retail network.
Reporting to the General Manager Retail, your key focus will be effective people leadership and operational management of the 10 retail stores within your area - Amberley, Culverden, Rangiora, Kaikoura, Blenheim, Motueka, Richmond, Greymouth, Hokitika, and Westport.
Whatever your location, we're open to where the role is based within the region.

With high energy, drive for results and a relentless pursuit of customer excellence, you’ll have retail leadership experience with a big box retailer and a strong focus on execution and developing capability.
You’ll also bring to the table:
- Proven track record of successful retail leadership – area management desirable
- Passion for coaching and developing your team
- In-depth knowledge of retailing and understanding of key metrics of sales and store performance, and ability to leverage data to drive business
- Proficient stakeholder and relationship management skills
- High levels of problem solving, negotiation and presentation skills
- A focus on delivering first-class customer experience
- Ambition for growth and ability to stimulate fresh thinking
A tertiary qualification in business and an interest in agriculture is desirable, but not essential.
