Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

We're currently looking for a Team Leader for our manufacturing operations at our Morrinsville site. The opportunity is morning shifts 5:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday

Reporting to the Production Manager , your key focus will be managing production and production staff to maximise production efficiencies and minimise downtime in accordance with the production schedule.

You will concentrate on:

•  accurate recording of production data
• Ensuring that accurate documentation of all production is completed by all staff on your shift
• Ensuring that the correct coverage of raw materials and packaging is on hand to meet the production plan
• Train mill staff on your shift as and when required including signing off SOP / SWP’s
• Ensure that your staff are maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of equipment, vehicles and entire site
• Co-ordinate with the Production Manager and maintenance engineer regarding scheduled routine maintenance

We're looking for someone who a self-starter, proven people leader with mechanical aptitude. 

• proven experience in feed mill operation
• Completion of NZFMA Feedsafe programme is preferred
• Manufacturing leadership experience 
•  Be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
