We have an opportunity for a Demand Planner to join our Integrated Planning Team.
Reporting to the GM Integrated Business Planning, you'll be responsible for the demand plan of all items offered by Farmlands for your product set. You'll drive strategic forecasting, monitor demand drivers and monitor and report on gaps to plan.
Mōhou ake | About you
Critical to the role will be your forecasting, modelling, planning and analytical skills, statistical and trend-reading ability. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, you will have excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, and confidence influencing across the business. You will also have:
Tertiary training in business, supply chain or other relevant fields, or a minimum of 3 year’s experience in a demand planning/forecasting role with a strong understanding of retail and wholesale distribution models
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
Advanced mathematical and statistical knowledge
Strong business and project management planning skills
Good market knowledge (preferably rural market)
A proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, ability to multitask
Advanced MS Office skills
The ability to propose solutions and justify position
Desirable:
Previous experience in SOP/IBP
Previous experience with Logility Planning software
D365 FinOps knowledge
