I've moved into a Technical Field Officer role out of store and have had great support with the transition from my Regional Sales Manager. I've also participated in the Cultivate programme which gives new Technical Field Officers the skills and knowledge to best support our shareholders. Farmlands have been a great support in my personal progression and I was fortunate to receive the Tom Cranswick Award through Farmlands when at university.

I liked the thought of being on the road and the variety in the role that comes with that. I wanted a job where I would be challenged intellectually and need to think about solving problems, but also had some practical implications where I could see the benefit of any solutions.

I wanted to use my degree while also working with farmers. I started in a Farmlands store and saw what TFOs did and how they interacted with shareholders and thought I would enjoy it.
