Careers: Spotlight on I & D (Business Optimisation Lead)
After creating her own career path, Jacqui brings her unique skills and experience to the Farmlands I & D team.
What did you want to do career-wise when you left school?
I had truly no idea what I wanted to do when I left school! I went to uni and took various papers, and tried out different jobs - not worrying too much about a concrete path. My main focus was on exploring different things and seeing what I enjoyed.
Tell us about your career to date.
My career journey has been quite diverse, and I’ve been fortunate to have great managers supporting my growth along the way. I started in banking, where i did a few different entry level roles before moving into a Business Banking Analyst role. After taking a break for my OE, I transitioned into the fitness industry, gaining regional management experience and eventually opening my own gym. After several years, I joined Torpedo7 as a National Operations Specialist and soon after became the National Operations Manager which was focused on day to day operations, leadership and strategic growth initiatives. It was during this time that I settled on pursuing this career path.

I am most excited about the continuous improvement culture Farmlands is building and our ambitious innovation goals. I enjoy most how collaborative and cross functional this business is and can be.
