Hear how Leanne Williams has gained her confidence back through her time with Farmlands.

What did you want to do career-wise when you left school?  

I was a born and bred farmer that dreamed of being a Vet. 

Tell us about your career to date.

I was a farmer and then worked for Westpac as a residential mortgage specialist for 10 years. I came home to the farm after a serious life incident and also took up a part time role at the local Farmlands store. 

What led you to Farmlands? 

I wanted to use my knowledge to help more people.

How have you grown in your time with us at Farmlands? 

I've grown more as a person and have gained my confidence back to be in front of people.

What do you most enjoy at Farmlands? 

I most enjoy being able to help our local farmers especially around calving time and being such a help around water fittings in our local store. 

What would your advice be for someone who's interested in a career in your area at Farmlands? 

Do it! There is a great team in my local branch.
